Carpets, lanterns, and life: Marrakech unveiled

Marrakech is a sensory whirlwind - vibrant, chaotic, and alive. The medina’s maze of carpets, lanterns, spices, and ceramics is unforgettable. As a solo traveler, I balanced excitement with caution, exploring beautiful design-led riads and visiting world-famous restaurants, soaking in the city’s unique charm. Getting lost was inevitable (and a tad scary), but as the sunset lit up the medina, I embraced its magic, mastered the art of bartering, and came home with a suitcase full of goodies.
