The soul and sorrow of Cambodia

Cambodia is a land of resilience, beauty, and haunting history. Visiting the Killing Fields was a deeply moving experience - a stark reminder of the country’s painful past. Yet, amid the tragedy, the strength and spirit of the Cambodian people shine through. I explored the countryside on a road trip, passing lush green fields and villages full of life, before arriving in Siem Reap and its awe-inspiring temples. From the quietness of Angkor Wat at sunrise to the intricate carvings of ancient ruins, Cambodia’s soul is felt in every moment. These photos tell a story of sorrow, strength, and breathtaking beauty.
