Building hope: A journey to Jordan

Traveling to Zaatari Village, on the Jordan/Syrian border, was a truly life-changing experience. In partnership with www.refugease.org, I joined a team dedicated to renovating a school for refugee children. It was hard work - humbling, challenging, and deeply rewarding. The resilience of the children was unforgettable, their joy and excitement contagious as they watched their school transform into a brighter, more welcoming space. I created vibrant artworks to bring colour and energy to their classrooms while documenting the experience. These photos reflect the difficult conditions, the incredible strength of the community, and the hope for a brighter future.
